War For the Last Edge is the fourth and final installment in the Edgeverse series. It was written by u/Advertisingreddit.

After the ending of the previous installment, Bill causes a nuclear apocalypse that only leaves the United States standing after becoming the de facto president. Greg and his team (consisting of Rowley, Bryce Anderson, and the pig) are on the run; Greg is nearly killed but is saved by Rodrick, who survived his apparent shooting. After several mishaps with other rebels, Maddox and Greg discover that Bill has made Alex Aruda vice president, having also survived his death.
Greg infiltrates Alex's mansion and fights with him; though both are injured, Greg ultimately castrates Alex and subdues him. Greg and the rest of the rebels plan to take down Bill and his NNN soldiers at the White House. Alex, now tied up, gloats to Greg but is shot dead where he sits in response.
Greg's army begins their attack, leading to numerous NNN deaths; Greg is held at gunpoint by one of the henchman after being caught but the henchman is shot by Maddox with a sniper rifle. Bill finally makes his entrance and reveals to Greg that he massacred the team Greg had sent to kill him earlier; Greg orders Maddox to shoot Bill but realizes too late that one of Bill's henchmen had already shot and killed Maddox. Greg is shot by a tank shell and his last moments witnesses Rowley, Rodrick, and the pig being executed by the henchmen.
Greg awakens in the afterlife, where he sees all the people who he killed or indirectly led to the deaths of. Greg has one final conversation with Holly, who convinces him to return to the land of the living. Greg awakens, being aided by the resurrected Rodrick and Rowley. He fights Bill alone and realizes that almost nothing can kill him; Greg sacrifices himself by placing Bill in front of his final nuclear bomb and shooting him, causing the bomb to go off. Bill is killed instantly while Greg is fatally wounded, managing to crawl to a tree before dying.
