Synopsis

Ever since Greg killed Manny, life was getting better and Greg didn't have to suffer embarrassment from Manny calling Greg bubby anymore and Greg got more attention from his mother. Greg logged back in his Net Kritterz account by reading Manny's diary. Greg said Manny's handwriting was sloppy and it says he hopes Greg doesn't find out his password is makto1 while he was at the dance. In his account he gave his pet food and clothes and later snooped on Rowley's diary. It said about how Rowley was afraid and scared during the fight with Manny. Greg's mother told Greg and Rodrick they should go to college. Greg heard a scream and thought it was the plastic which they were getting for Halloween. Rodrick said his band mates were down there and when they checked, no one was down there. Greg was scared and went to school. Rowley was excited to see Greg and started milking how Greg saved everyone. Someone started spraying something and after that Greg remembers when he was younger when Manny grabbed a knife and his mother didn't know. Manny tried to stab Rodrick, but his mother came in and Manny went back. Back to the present, Greg went home and on the way, Rowley tripped and fell in dog poop. Later, Greg saw Manny's diary on the floor and picked it up and read it. Greg realized Manny was alive and came to go to his room and kill him. Greg told his mother what happened and grabbed a gun and waited for Manny to come. Greg waited for hours and Manny came and knocked him out. Manny was in his room the whole time. Greg asked how he alive and Manny said he reincarnated and touched the cheese. Manny said he was tired of sparing him and he was gonna throw him in the lava. He trapped Greg in a cage, but Greg picked the lock. Manny recruited some people and told them to shoot everyone at Greg's school. Greg rushed to tell everyone, but they were at the party. Greg's mother brought her car to her house and Greg knocked on the door. The person at the door was confused why Greg wasn't wearing a costume, but ignored that. Greg saw Manny and grabbed a gun and tried to shoot him. But he escaped and everyone freaked out and Greg's mother was mad. Greg thought his mother thought he had autism and Manny got away. Everyone was mad at Greg and wouldn't let him sit on any table. But Rowley was nice and Greg told Rowley about Manny. Rowley believed him and made a comic. Greg went home and thought he saw Manny and when he blinked he was gone. Not without leaving a threatening note. Greg noticed the stereo was on and was not prepared for what he had to see. Greg called Rowley to tell him and Rowley said he was angry at Manny for killing his father, so his mother took care of him, so he can't come with Greg. Greg couldn't find Rodrick or his parents and he grabbed a gun. Greg heard Manny threaten him. Greg hid under his bed and Manny walked in. He opened Greg's drawers to eat Greg's candy. Greg let him eat it to distract him. But Manny realized he didn't have a mouth and it went through his holes. Which annoyed him and he turned around and saw Greg. Greg tripped and Manny came closer. Greg flicked a coin and it hit a bomb and it went off. Greg crashed out the window in the bush. His house burned as he dashed into the woods. Manny came closer and Rodrick hit him with his van. Greg asked where he was and Rodrick said Rowley saved them and Greg asked who they is and Rodrick said him and his parents. Rowley came and found them being kidnapped in a car and he followed the car. Greg jumped in a car and his parents were inside. They discussed the plan and Rowley said Chirag's dad made a portal to hell. Greg went home with Rowley and they drew Manny's attention. He came and they ran when Manny came to their house. Greg's mother repaired the damaged house and Chirag got the portal open. He grabbed a gun and fired everywhere. Chirag pressed the button and the door slammed. Manny fired at Chirag and it hit him in the chest, but he survived. Greg, Rowley, Rodrick and Chirag all banded together and Rodrick body slammed Manny. The portal opened and it sucked everything and Greg's parents held on. Rowley shot Manny in the heart and Manny survived and Greg gave one last kick to kill him. Manny lost blood and died. His corpes fell in the portal and burned. The portal shut down and they fixed their house. They put the portal away and Greg thanked Chirag and Rowley for helping him. And he also thanked Rodrick and got used to his drums. At school, it was going great for Greg. Rowley told everyone Greg wasn't making up the story of Manny coming back and everyone apologized. They treated Greg like a hero And Greg got Holly Hills as a girlfriend. Greg thanked Fregley for starting the whole thing and it was Christmas and Greg's family were planning an island getaway, ending the trilogy. This story started on Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Cheese King.
